Gap Creek Trail is on the right of the Verde River. To access Gap Creek River Access Point by vehicle, follow Salt Mine Road (Forest Service Road C574) from Camp Verde toward the Clear Creek and Beasley Flat RAPs, but keep on C574 heading south. There is a parking off C574 (primitive), and it is a half mile hike to the river from the parking area. Boaters should be prepared to haul craft along this relatively short, steep trail to the river.
