In Camp Verde, turn east off Highway 260 onto Finnie Flat Road and follow for about a mile and a half. Make a left onto Montezuma Castle Highway. After a half mile, turn right into Rezzonico Family Park, located on the right side of the river just downstream from Black Bridge. The park entrance is just past the Library on the right. It is a short walk from the parking area to the river. *A warning to paddlers – downstream of Black Bridge RAP is the Diamond S Ditch, which can be difficult to navigate and hazardous for boaters. Recommend portage around the diversion. Do not boat down the ditch toward the headgate as boaters can get caught in a large culvert.
