This database provides information on state and federal funding and technical assistance programs, as well as corporate foundation funding opportunities for recreation and conservation projects. It including more than 80 federal funding sources, 30 state specific programs and 10 different corporate foundation opportunities for projects ranging from new river access points to habitat restoration and land protection.
HOW TO USE THE DATABASE
There are two ways to search the database – by category or key words.
Search by category: Click on the category that best describes your project and click “search.” You will be brought to a page with funding and technical assistance programs related to that category.
Search by key words: Type in the key words that best describe your project (e.g. “recreation” or “recreation and habitat”) and click “search.”
Search by category and key words: To further refine your search, you can combine the two options. First select your category and then search by key words (e.g. your category is “Colorado” and your key word is “recreation and habitat”).
